Nationally Recognized Testing LaboratoriesNationally Recognized Testing Laboratories, or NRTLs, are private third party organizations recognized by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) under Federal code 29 CFR 1910.7 to provide product safety testing and certification services for a wide range of products used in the U.S. workplace. In Canada, the Standards Council of Canada, or SCC, mandates that an SCC accredited Certification Body perform such services in Canada.
